  • Are your prices per person or per vehicle?
    Prices are quoted per vehicle.
  • Can I have a receipt or an invoice?
    Yes, you will receive an electronic invoice automatically when you pay online by credit card.
    If you chose to pay upon arrival and you need an invoice please inform us before your arrival by sending an email to invoice@cairotransfer.com and we will be more than happy to provide you with one.
  • Can I pay by credit card upon arrival?
    Yes, you can.
    You are also welcome to pay online (in advance and get -5% Discount) using your credit or debit card.
    When paying on the spot (after you arrive at Cairo International Airport) we accept VISA, Master Card, JCB Cards, Amex and Diners Club.
  • Do I need to pay in EGP currency?
    It is not necessary to pay in Egyptian Pounds. Feel free to pay in GBP, USD or EUR.
  • Do infants count?
    Infants and children do count as one person if they are above 6 years old, if they are below 6 years old; they are free of charge. Remember, we charge by the vehicle and not by person. But, we need to know the number of passengers in order to determine the vehicle size.
  • Do you offer other transport routes besides airport routes?
    We will take you anywhere you like. Please send us an email for an exact price quote. For instance, if you would like to travel from a location in Cairo to another city, we can arrange that for you.
  • Do you offer transfers for more than 4 passengers?
    Of course, we are able to offer transfers for groups up to 300 passengers. If you are traveling in a very large group (over 49 passengers) then please ask for a special discount.
  • I did not receive a confirmation e-mail. Why? What should I do?
    As on most occasions, this is usually a problem with your spam filter. Please check your spam folder. Also, make sure that you entered your e-mail correctly. If this does not help, please contact us again and we will send you a new confirmation e-mail. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail when making a booking very close to the time of arrival, our driver will still be there waiting for you (as our automated system will inform the driver).
  • I have a special request (a baby chair, wheel chair etc.). How do I inform you?
    If you require a baby chair, a wheel chair or any additional services, please leave a note when you make your booking in the comment box.
  • I need to change a booking - what should I do?
    Just follow the link provided in the confirmation e-mail and amend your details or contact us--all free of charge.
  • Insurance?
    Cairo Transfer holds full public liability insurance for our entire fleet. This means that if, while riding in one of our vehicles, the vehicle is in an accident and you are injured, your injuries will be covered by our insurance. We do however strongly recommend that you hold a valid insurance policy for the duration of your trip.
  • Our group is staying at different hotels, do you charge extra for additional drop-off locations?
    Two drop-off hotels are included in the price if they are in the same zone. If you will be going to more than 2 hotels which are very far from each other then we may charge extra. It is important to notify us of this before you arrive. If this is the case, please contact us.
  • Should I tip the driver?
    If you are happy with the service, it is customary to tip between 5% and 15%. However, it is entirely at your discretion. But keep in mind that even a very small tip will keep your driver extra happy :).
  • What happens if I cancel my trip?
    You may cancel your booking at any time, please read our terms and conditions.
  • What happens if my Cairo-bound flight is delayed?
    Our company representative will be informed and collect you at the new time at no extra charge.
  • What if I can't find the company representative?
    In the unlikely event that this happens please call us on 0142521444 or on 22685045.
    Public phones are located in the arrivals lobby.
  • What if I have huge or extra large luggage?
    If you are carrying extra large luggage please let us know in advance as we may have to send a larger car. Generally, there is no extra charge.
  • What is your smoking policy?
    Smoking is not allowed inside the vehicle.
  • What time will you pick us up on our departure day?
    Generally we recommend a pick up time of 3 hours before your scheduled departure flight. However, you are the one who will decide the pick up time! (Note, if you miss your flight, we are not responsible.)
  • When can I make a reservation?
    You can make a reservation as soon as you have your flight number, up to the day of arrival. Our system allows you to make a reservation a maximum of one year before your date of travel.
  • When do I pay?
    You could pay online by a credit card before your arrival, but you also have the option to pay upon arrival by cash or a credit card.
    If you chose to pay in advance via the online payment service, our company representative will be automatically informed and you will need to take no further action.
    If you chose to pay upon arrival, you will pay our company representative at the Cairo International Airport.
    Once you have paid the company representative, he will give you "a transport voucher" which you will then give to the driver on the return journey.
  • Where do we meet your representative ? How do we recognize our driver?
    Our company representative will be holding a clear card (a banner) with our company logo and the lead passenger name printed on it. You will see them in the transfer area of the airport, before you go through passport control.
  • Will there be a CairoTransfer.com representative waiting for us at the airport?
    Yes, a company representative will be waiting for you at the airport with a clear card (a banner) with our company logo and the lead passenger name printed on it. The representative will help you with your luggage and will be with you throught the remainder of the time for which you have requested our services.
  • Will there be extra fees when I arrive to my destination?
    No. There are no additional fees applied to your invoice or expected of you other than the fees you have seen on the Cairo Transfer website.
